Chelsea Williams-Diggs

Chelsea is the program specialist for the Executive Department, managing special projects including the Idea Pipeline, Scaling Learning Group, and Graduate Students of Color for Justice Initiative.

Prior to joining Vera, she spent several years working at the intersections of international development, global gender policy, and youth mobilization. She held positions with Women Deliver, a leading global advocacy organization and Girl Up, an initiative of the United Nations Foundation. She also worked for the Center for Strategic and International Studies and served as a three-time AmeriCorps Member for Jumpstart for Young Children.

Chelsea holds a BA from Georgetown University and a MA in Public Policy, concentrating in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies from The George Washington University. She volunteers with various local organizations and serves on the board of the New York Abortion Access Fund.
