Jakiyah Bradley

Jakiyah is the special assistant on the Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team. She manages special projects, such as the Neil A. Weiner Speaker Series, the Research Summer Camp, and fellowships between Vera and the City University of New York. She is also a core member of the Impact Pipeline team, Research Leadership team, and Participatory Action Research working group. Additionally, Jakiyah supports Vera’s researchers by monitoring and developing policies and practices around human subjects training and Vera’s Institutional Review Board.

Prior to joining Vera, Jakiyah held internships with the Bronx Defenders and Legal Aid Society NYC. She holds a BA in individualized studies from New York University, with a concentration in urban policy and social change. Her points of pride as a student include researching frameworks for decolonizing toponyms in Berlin, Germany, and serving as Chairperson of NYU Student Government. Jakiyah was a Rhodes Scholarship finalist in 2020.
