Mamadou Haidara

Mamadou is a program coordinator in Vera’s Greater Justice New York initiative. Previously, he worked as the bail specialist on Vera’s Bail Assessment Project, an initiative launched in the Bronx and Queens criminal courts in 2018 to provide arraignment judges with information about a person’s ability to pay bail. Before joining Vera, Mamadou worked as a pretrial intern at the New York City Criminal Justice Agency, where he notified people who missed their court appearances and arranged for them to return to court. He holds a BA in criminology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
