Sarah Derrigan

Sarah is an operations associate on Vera’s Initiative to End Girls’ Incarceration team. In this role, she provides executive, administrative, and project management support to the project director and senior associates. Prior to joining Vera, she worked for local governments in New York, Colorado, and North Carolina in various administrative and communications roles. She strives to include her commitment to social justice issues and criminal justice reform in all aspects of her work.

Sarah has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University at Buffalo, a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
